B2B Editorial Submission Guidelines
Part of the ongoing success of B2B is found in the quality of the articles we receive from business people just like you. We welcome your submissions of content, with a few guidelines:
Articles are to be about your field in business, not YOU and YOUR business. An example may be a restaurateur writing an article about customer feedback and internal training, rather than writing about their particular restaurant, specials, ambiance, etc.
Articles are to be informative in nature. Phone numbers (in the article itself), prices, sale information, addresses, and other advertising information are not allowed. We will publish your contact info in the table of Contents. Articles containing this type of information are termed "advertorials", and are available to publish at 1/2 rate card price. Consult your B2B Advertising Consultant for more information.
No articles past deadline will be accepted for publication in that particular issue.
B2B will make every effort to get it into the next issue.
B2B will edit for style, not for content. We reserve the right to alter articles grammatically, but not in substance. We do, however, reserve the right to refuse publication of any article for any reason.
A Few Tips:
- Be concise. You don't have to get everything into this one article. A half page is roughly 500 words.
- Think about a series. It's all about name recognition, and B2B is a great way to keep your name, and your business' image, out there every month.
- Include a headshot photo with your article. Again, it's all about top-of-mind awareness.
- If you are advertising in B2B, think about submitting an article in conjunction with a holiday or an event. An example may be a candy store advertising around Valentine's Day, as well as submitting an article about corporate gift giving and promotional items.
